[VIDEO] We’ve Had A List Of Baby Names Since High School | {THE AND} Treska & Cody

Video Description

Treska (she/her) and Cody (he/him) have been together since high school and have grown with each other along the way. Now, the self-proclaimed "dog and cat parents" look forward to their future while reminiscing on the past. They discuss the loss of Treska's Nana and the sadness Cody faced while waiting for family to show up and support him as an athlete, but also how they've better understood each other from their struggles. As for their future...they talk about selling a home and being the best parents to their future children (while still being good parents to their fur babies). We'd like to thank Treska and Cody for participating openly & vulnerably in our project. We appreciate what they've shared with us and hope you do as well. - What's your favorite
imperfection of mine and why?
- Favorite imperfection?
- Yes.
- I think you're perfect in every way.
- Oh, there's a lot. - I know.
I was trying not to
say that, but it's true.
It is.
I don't know.
I don't think you have any- what's mine?
All right, let's go for that.
There you go.
- Your imperfection
is that you didn't grow up
normally,
so you're going to make a great dad.
- Yeah.
- I don't want to cry,
but you're going to be a great dad
to our children. - Yeah.
- So without that,
you- I don't know who you would be.
- Yeah.
I can't wait for that.
I'm sorry.
I'm trying not to cry, too.
Thank you.
I'm really excited for that.
- Yeah.
Oh, what's something
you think I need to hear?
We both have to answer it.
- What's something that I think
you need to hear? - Yes.
- You can do it.
Like anything you put your mind to,
you can do it.
Like you say, you're always
scared to take more than,
you know, a certain
amount of classes and work
or like, you know, do your...
what things you love.
I think
I think you can do it
and you need to do it.
I think it'd be good for you.
- Yeah. - I think you need it.
Yeah, you can do it.
You can do it. - Oh.
Okay. - I feel like I tell you
that all the time. I'm very- - Yeah.
- I feel like I'm very like
Team Treska. - Yes.
Motivational. - Yes.
Motto as fuck. For sure.
- Yes.
- Wait.
Okay, so I have to answer.
- Yes. - Okay.
- What was the question?
- What's something I
think you need to hear? - Oh.
- I think you need to hear
that you're doing a good job.
I think you do well with praises.
I think so.
So, I think you need to hear that
you're a great husband, a great
dog dad,
cat dad.
You'd be a better cat dad
if you let him lay on you more.
- Oh my gosh.
- But I think you do great. - Well, thanks.
- And I think you've grown as a person
in the past, like four years.
- Definitely.
- Yeah, for sure. - Definitely.
- Totally different Cody,
than when- - The beginning....
The beginning was a little rocky. - Yeah.
- We got to and 100% can you.
when have you seen me
the most vulnerable
and what did it teach you about me?
Man...
- The most vulnerable?
- I think I know that one.
- I'm scared. What do you think it is?
- It was definitely in high school.
- Yeah.
And somebody didn't
show up to like a football game
or it might have been graduation. - Yeah.
That's what I was going to say.
- Yeah.
What did it teach you?
- That you actually do have a heart
like one that...
one that's like, actually,
you're not very emotional.
- Oh, yeah.
- You know, like in that regard.
- Yeah. - That you actually do care.
- Yeah. - Like deeply about things.
- Yeah, yeah.
That's definitely one.
- Oh, yeah. - Yeah.
I remember that.
- Do you have one for me?
'When have you seen me the most vulnerable?'
what did it do?
Hmm.
I think it's like a similar
similar type deal.
Both had something
to do with our past and
It taught me that you are
an emotional person.
- What? - Um...
- Don't. - I'm not.
- Is it about my nana?
- Yeah, yeah.
And that showed me that
Like
the love that somebody
can have for somebody,
especially a family member.
And taught me that you, you
and some other people,
you know, taught me a lot about family
and definitely your family
taught me a lot about-
I think your family is
very close, very close knit.
And they brought me in like it
was, especially your nana.
And
- I know she loved you very much.
My whole family does.
They like you more than they like me.
- No.
But no, she, uh...
Yeah.
- I knew you're going to say...
- Yeah, I did. I'm sorry.
- I can't believe you...
You knew I was going to say
that about you, though.
- Yeah.
- I think that's like
one of the only times
I've ever seen you be like that.
If this were to be
our last conversation,
what's one thing you
would want to tell me?
- I love you 3000.
- I'd probably just say the same thing back.
- Yeah, Marvel all the way,
Shout out to Tony Stark.
What are the next steps
in our relationship
and what should we do
to better prepare for them?
- Okay, well, we're about
to sell our house. - Yup.
- So... great financial
decisions there.
I would say we need to be
smart with the money
we make on it because I know
we're going to want to be stupid,
but we're going to be good.
We're going to be fine.
We're going to be smart.
- Everything's fine.
- Yeah, they're manifested.
- I think the next step in
our relationship is having kids
and all of our 20
unborn named children already
that we have on our phones.
- I know we've had that list since high school.
- Pages and pages of names.
I don't know.
I think we're
going to be good parents.
- Oh, we're gonna be great parents.
- Be cool.
- Yeah, but we're teaching them to cuss.
- No, stop.
Maybe.
- Yeah, it's happening.
